Great news folks – after a short hiatus I’ve re-opened the order books for RyanBuildsWheels custom, handbuilt wheels.
What’s the story here..?
There’s a couple of ways of working with me, you see.
You can buy a pair of my Ready To Roll wheelsets from my website.
These are pre-designed using a list of components that I’ve tried and tested and include my brand-new Journey wheelsets. Ready To Roll wheels are handbuilt and made to order but take away the decision-making of full custom. They’re also a little cheaper and semi-customisable.
But – for those of you that really do need something one-off, unique and super-special there’s Full Custom.
This is my bells-and-whistles, creme de la creme service. I work with you to really understand your needs and build a wheelset that’s perfectly matched to you, your bike and your riding.
You’re welcome to tell me your needs and I’ll match them with a suggested build or you can tell me your exact spec and I’ll use my expertise to build it, tailoring the setup to match you and your style. However you do it, you’ll receive a beautiful and bespoke wheelset that’s a perfect match for whatever, however, or wherever you ride.
And so, because of the bespoke nature of custom wheel building, I can only do so many at a time. To give my brain, body and business a break I recently closed the order books on full custom and turned down any new work.
But, that break is now over and RyanBuildsWheels full-custom wheel builds are now open again.
I’m busily receiving orders and working to a 4 to 5-week waiting list. But, that’s not getting any smaller so get in touch if you’d like to work with me on your new custom, handbuilt wheels.
