Shimano HG spec’d as standard in 3 pawl freehub. Other free hubs are Bitex’s patented 6 pawl and have higher quality bearings.

Lower spoke counts for all out road use and riders up to 90kg; higher spoke counts for those wanting a sturdier wheelset, with 32/32 making these wheels winter trainers or light touring wheels suited for total loads of up to 120kg.

Sapim Race spokes are the all round butted spoke of choice. D-Light spokes are a great weight saver for lighter riders or those looking for a more performance focused wheelset.

Brass nipples are spec’d as standard; go black for full stealth or choose alloy for further weight savings and some ano’d bling where it matters!

Our entry-level, handbuilt and semi-custom road wheelset, for disk brakes. A real do-it-all for roadies who don’t want to spend a fortune.

Built as standard with a great value DT Swiss R460db rim, BitexBX822 hubs and Sapim Race double-butted Silver spokes, we’ve created a wheelset that rides beautifully, without the price tag of high-end hoops.

  • Upgrade to DT Swiss R500db rims for ‘endurance’ riding and RD+ rigs – a heavier, more robust and wider rim.
  • Upgrade to 28/28 spokes for a great balance of weight, strength, durability and lighter-weight winter training.
  • Or up to 32/32 spokes for heavy-duty, rough-and-ready wheels that are suited to light-touring and winter training.
