Rims

DT Swiss RR481 Disk Brake rims are the modern ‘all road’ rim of choice.

Their UCI CX Legal 22mm internal width shines with 30-50c tyres. Whilst they’re rated up to 2.6″ we’d recommend that riders looking for 42mm and above should check out our Gravel Bomber for the handbuilt, custom gravel wheelset of your dreams.

All our wheels come equipped with two layers of high-end tubeless tape, professionally installed free of charge.

Hubs

The RyanBuildsWheels Endurance Bombers come with a choice of hubs, our favourite being the brand-new Hope Pro5. UK-manufactured, the Pro5 is unbeatable in all conditions, super reliable and can be easily serviced.

We also offer Bitex hubs, the centrelock of which are lighter and more performance focused, or the six bolt MT Series for study adventure / touring rigs. All options feature progressive flange spacing, generous bearing sizes, and a sturdy freehub body.

Spokes

The Endurance Bomber’s spoke options allow for fine-tuning to fit any rider’s needs.

Wheel size-specific spoke counts keep the Endurance Bomber light yet strong whilst a variety of spoke options allow for further customisation.

Butted spokes are cost-effective and offer good performance and durability. The Sapim D-Light is ideal for lighter riders (<75kg) with small loads, while the Sapim Race is suitable for loaded adventures. For maximum performance, the Sapim CX-Ray is the best choice, providing weight savings, high fatigue life, and slight aerodynamic benefits.

Nipples

Nipples come in a range of colours, including full stealth black, bright anodized colours, or custom-coloured highlights on either side of the valve to make these wheels uniquely yours.
